March 2026 State theatre - mn Events Guide: Minneapolis Concerts, Shows and Games
Looking for a reason to get out and enjoy some live entertainment this March? The State Theatre in Minneapolis is the place to be, especially with a lineup that promises to keep you hooked. Think of this historic venue, which was totally revamped in the 90s with shiny new sound and lighting tech that really brings performances to life. It’s got that old-school charm but with a modern twist, thanks to the Schubert siblings who ran the show back in the day, they really knew how to set the stage. If you’re into sound, the pit section is where the magic happens, perfect for catching bands up close and personal. For those who want a little extra privacy, loge seats are a sweet choice, they’re usually quieter and offer a bit of a secluded vibe. And if you’re planning to take public transit, Metro Transit’s buses stop right near the theatre, so no excuses about parking or traffic. Plus, the theatre’s accessibility efforts are top-notch, with support for guests with special needs. Whether you’re eyeing Cirque Alice from the front row, hoping to snag VIP passes for Jeff Arcuri, or just looking for a budget friendly night out, the State Theatre has you covered. It’s more than just a venue, it’s a community hub for live performances that keep Minneapolis buzzing.
